www.cruisesalefinder.co.nz/com.au (CSF) cruise aggregator websites that has booked over 175,000 cruise passengers. The objective was to increase conversion rates and increase revenue.  Being an aggregator site, Cruise Sale Finder was not a recognised brand compared to other multinational cruise companies that operation in the same market.

Search Republic analysed historical website and conversion data to identify steps within the funnel that were under optimised.  Search Republic recommended that trust elements be added to pages at the start of the conversion funnel and to key sections within the signup form.  This helped build credibility for the site which had very little brand recognition within the market.

 

Search Republic leveraged Cruise Sale Finders extensive database of positive reviews on TrustPilot. Reviews were displayed in prominent positions above-the-fold on pages that feed into the conversion funnel.  

Testimonials from authoritative organisations and brands from within the industry were displayed on key landing pages in addition to membership and sponsorship logos.  Social buttons such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Youtube were introduced to create social proof that Cruise Sale Finder is a credible and trusted business.

Objectives

The average cost of a cruise is $3,000 and therefore detailed information is requested during the online signup process.  Search republic recommended that a detailed flow chart of frequently asked questions and next steps be displayed in the right navigation.  This helped alleviate any outstanding questions or concerns the prospect may have during the signup process.

Results

Conversion rates and revenue increasing by 25% site-wide.
